TDA2030A is a well used class AB audio amplifier IC. This one is mainly used in home theater systems these days because of its good features. This IC also requires fewer external components making it easier for beginners to use veroboard. It can only work with one power line, but this topology gives less power output, so this dual voltage topology is used everywhere. We need to supply +/- 12V to it. We can easily get +12V and -12V from 12-0-12 CT low voltage transformer. And, since this IC does not require a regulated power supply, we can supply voltage directly from the rectifier using just one capacitor.
