The built-in speakers on a laptop typically produce quiet sound. To achieve a high volume, you need a power amplifier. This is a straightforward circuit to boost the audio output of the laptop. The power amplifier IC LA 4440 (IC1), along with a few more parts, form the foundation of the circuit. A twin channel audio power amplifier is the LA4440. It features superb channel separation and minimal distortion over a broad spectrum of low to high frequencies. It can be used as a bridge amplifier or stereo amplifier thanks to its built-in dual channels.
The LA4440 has a 6-watt output in dual mode and a 19-watt output in bridge mode. It rejects ripples by 46 dB. Two 6-watt speakers can be used to get the desired acoustic impact. Join pins 2 and 6 of IC1 with the ground to the stereo connector intended for usage with the laptop.
Put the circuit together on a multipurpose PCB and store it in an appropriate cabinet. The circuit uses a controlled 12V power source to operate. Using the circuit board's audio input connector is advised. Use the appropriate heat sink for the LA4440.
